CLIENT DESIGN ADVISOR / SHARED SERVICES
The National Building Agency provides Client's Design Advisor consultancy services to Local Authorities, State and Semi State bodies. This service includes the following activities:

- Assessing client requirements
- Stakeholder consultation
- Preparation of Procurement Strategies/Options and Documentation
- Management of Design Competition and subsequent building Procurement
- Preparation of Public Sector Benchmark cost estimates
- Compliance assessment of Developer proposals
- Architectural assessment of Developer proposals
- Value for Money assessment of Developer proposals
- Technical reports for Assessment panels
- Performing the role of Assessor
- Reporting and advice during negotiations with Developers
- Assisting in drafting Project Agreements
- Management and monitoring of project delivery
- Cost advice during project delivery
- Document management on project completion
The Agency's Client Design Advisory expertise can be engaged throughout the life of a project or can be called upon for particular aspects or stages of a project. The Agency's objective in this service is to assist client organisations is addressing their needs in the most appropriate and efficient manner and to aid the client organisation in assessing developer proposals and the subsequent management of the selected proposal. As Client's Design Advisor the Agency will ensure that private sector proposals are delivered in an appropriate and timely manner and in accordance with the client's output specification.
